Name the six oceans and seven continents using pages 24 & 25 in the atlas. Be careful with spelling. Lightly colour the continents (different colours but not blue).

How to revise:
  • Read through the chapters in your notes and make sure you understand the subject.
  • On small 10X14cms note cards write the key vocabulary (ideas, themes, names, dates , places etc) .
  • Learn by heart the vocabulary.
  • Ask someone to test you

Some sections require short answers and some ask for longer explanations. You'll need coloured pencils.

We looked at the pictures of the early Hebrews in class. Now read their story from page 1 and the top two lines of page 2 on your photocopy.

Jewish Festivals

On the back page of your photocopy find out why these celebrations take place (write two sentences on each) and write when, approximately, they take place (eg October, December etc).

Be careful ! the spelling may differ from one source of information to another. The last one is 'Shabout', not 'Sabbath'.
