- Byzantium : main text of worksheet and maps.

- 'Emperor Justinian' printed sheet about life of the emperor and Theodora, his wife.
Pages 40 to 43 in 'Middle Ages'.

- Islam : main text of worksheet (Mohammed, Mosque, Koran) and map. Pages 43 to 48 in 'Middle Ages' .

- Five Pillars of Islam homework sentences.

- Charlemagne : pages 52, 53 & 54 in 'Middle Ages'.

How to revise:
  • Read through the chapters in your notes and make sure you understand the subject.
  • On small 10X14cms note cards write the key vocabulary (ideas, themes, names, dates , places etc) .
  • Learn by heart the vocabulary.
  • Ask someone to test you

Some sections require short answers and some ask for longer explanations. You'll need coloured pencils.
